Happy Color!!

This is a NOT FOR SALE post =D
I am very happy to be in colors!! My nature of jobs requires me to be in BLACK.
Black when there is functions attended by VIPs.
Black when I go see corporate clients.
Black when I conduct classes.
Black when I go for buying mission..
Blar....
I really cannot tahan black...
Hence I never have black to be on it's own.

Still black what!!

But if you are a lawyer, I think the combo is not acceptable =D

I am lucky to be in a colorful industry despite being corporate. I enjoy the attention of being a colored corporate clown (OK, sad to say, it's tough to sell color to people) 

Hand drawn shawls, hand loomed frills and hand stitched too! =D

I must admit black is a very good color to assist other colors to stand out. Black is like a girls' best friend to help other colors/ accesories/ parapernalia to stand out. =D

Ohhh, I just need a handheld fan to complete the Nyonya look!

My Thursday attire to work. 

Yesterday was the start of the National Craft Week / Day or so, which I dutifuly go every year. You should check out the stuff they have. The development of craft have been very impressive over the years. Ooh, by the way, crafts / handicrafts do not just confine it to making origami pelicans or carving congkak sets, or making beaded necklace =) 

Batik is a craft, mengkuang weaving is a craft, rattan furniture is craft too. So is embroidery, embellishing coconut shells!, ceramics ware and all things imaginable that you can craft. Despite being a cottage industry, people are getting so innovative to turn everything into something! 

Though there are certain ranges of craft items which are really affordable, most craft are pricey depending on the make and the materials and its make. You can't be expecting a villager to go hunting for crocodile skin and risk their life just so to make u a croc skin clutch for RM20 rite? But you can certainly get a mengkuang pouch for RM18 or so =D

This time round, I got myself a hand weaved bag from a Sarawak weaver =D it's not mengkuang It's not pandan. It's made of bemban.. (whatever it is) Bemban apparently is a stick / branch of a plant that the weaver collects from the forest, then strips it from a whole big stick to smaller strips. Bemban is also used as the tie-string when making attap roofs (hmm, why am I going into a documentary talk on bemban now?)

Anyway this bambi bemban bag is so LV Neverfull inspired I can't resist it! It comes in a variety of shapes and sizes from totes to clutch to lots more un-imaginable cool and funky designs to swoon you into madness!

Think I will go again for another round before all the cottage people leave on the last day. Can get bargains wut!! =D

Journey To Datin-hood

I am a female.
Female likes to gossip.
They also like to shop.
Female shop for items that can pretti-fy them.
Like make-ups.
Like clothings.
Like shoes.
Like bags.
Some can afford a whole wardrobe of shoes.
While some are easily contented just by collecting used wrapping papers. For reasons I can't tell.
There are also a fraction of females who have a collection of wish. Wishes. Wissshheeesssss maybe.
Waiting for the time the apple becomes ripe and the wishes not granted and more wishes are added into the list of wishes.
Like how I forever wish to be pretty and have bigger boobs. *looks at own chest*

PROJECT LAZY TO THE MAX

Yup, I am lazy, I am busy and I am merely procrastinating. My plans to do a lot of  some self design stuff is still going on, but at snail rate... my studs are still not here yet  =(   and now the lace trend is coming in soo fast!

not really too sure what am I trying to design here.. but that's the thing with design, u gotta keep drawing still something strikes u. Sometimes it is practical, most of the time it is just ridiculous..but many a times, cost comes into picture as I want to keep it below RM40 all in  =)

Anyway, so far.. this is what I have.. done but incomplete..

corset / bustier / tube .. whatever u call it which is cut but not sewn yet. I can't decide if I should stud it or embroider it it just leave it as it is. I love batik!!  If I stud the edges of the cup with copper based studs, not forgetting the seams too with studs, of course, can u imagine a boho rock chick ensemble? With skinnies and a biker jeans..  =)  and messy kate Moss hair of course to complement the look.. I don't know... What think u?

Just a small attempt, and also a small size corset =P  most probably it will take so much time for me to ponder and procrastinate till my breast sag and can no longer make a full cup in the corset, even with 3 Nubra worn together..

Then of course, day dreamer like me don't just have a single dream.. I also dream of making more of these in different materials that I have been buying and buying. Did I say to fit your size?  =) So your frustration of not getting your bust fitted in is cleared off your messy mind =P

The auntie on the 6th floor also got. How I know?
I found her bra dropped and hung on the bamboo tree when I reverse park my car  =P

Now she lost a set of her bra. I hope she realised. But that is better than losing a set of her own humps.

So the next time you admire how gorgeous is your silky face and neck, look further down from your decolletage and try check out your own humps. And just because you got a flatter boobies than the neighbourhood friendly auntie, it doesn't mean that you are safe from any risk of being attacked by the perverted cancerous cell who choose to sit in your boobs.

A campaign  just isn't about wearing a pink ribbon and yell out "We are aware breast got cancer!!" and stops there.. It's about making the first steps. Like inspecting your own boobs. Then pester your bestfriend to inspect her own boobs too. Caution : Do not attempt to inspect other people's boobs (tho he/she may be your best friend without permission). Cus by then u will be tagged a molester.

And to you guys, while ogling at other girls's boobs, do remember your nipples are set on top of some mounts of flesh too. They may not be called boobs and lactate, but doesn't mean that the perverted cancerous cell won't choose u as the next target.

A Day Made of Murukku and Drapes

ahhh... that blissful Saturday off from work.. and on this auspicious day of the Diwali celebration.. I sold a saree piece to a Chinese girl. The day before I sold another saree piece to a Malay girl.. If there is ever a need to elect a woman Prime MInister, I think I am the best candidate - lah.. the epitome of Muhibah-ism !! =)

An then there was the feature on YSK for Diwali!!!  wah!! what a day to feast on muruku, sarees, bollywood movies and machas!! thanks soo much!!  =)

festivities to me ... is just another day off ?  =) being pessimist, I always think that Chinese New Year is the time of the year the kiasu chinese aunties do major spring cleaning and open their door for people to see how grand is their house, and also forcing every guest to have a taste of their 'butter cookies' named A'la Grande- macadamia- bierhaus- watever.. which is made of .. flour and butter .. Raya is a day when all the cows cook themselves in a pot of coconut milk with curry powder and get served and every single ladies in the world who knows how to bake cookies try to take order to supply cookies. Diwali is a day.. in fact one of the very rare day lengas, churidars, sarees and those glittery bling bling accesories from Bommbay Store can make an appearance (of course, the make minor appearance on Indian functions too) without looking too overly glamour.. and of course everyone suddenly derive a crave for murukku and any machis who work in the office and not bring any murukku to ofis for the non Indians will get questions like 'Why no murukku ah?'

and so the point is ... there is no point actually.. hehe.. I am just feeling blessed to have another day off .. and no, I don't hate people or festivities if you feel like I am some world-hater who tries to kill the Ninja Turtles and Power Puff in order to make the world a thunderous and always dark-skied place with people wearing an eye bag and slouching to work =D

 I am simply cherishing the day off watching Tamil movies and doing what I love - online rambling!!

Been a while since i sat down and did any proper design ... that very time consuming process. Too caught up with the selling part of the work  :)

IT's a very addictive process.. once u start, u just find it hard to stop..cus when inspiration comes in, u just gotta make sure that all ideas are very quickly drawn on before that nice visual on the head zap off..

Yeah.. and so I would like to think that all stuff that is purchased should be made to good use. Shall you see anything that pique your interest in my post but do not know if it's for you, but there's a voice behind u telling u it's soo u!!, ask me further as most of the time I am a bit heavy headed to write a thesis on the items (i know I wont stop once  i start). But of course.. if u ask, i will be glad to assist.
